Description

Under the ideal of independence, peace and friendship, the 16th Pyongyang International Film Festival was successfully held in Pyongyang, the capital city of DPR Korea. The Festival was opened from September 19th to September 28th, 2018. 468 pieces of films were submitted from 41 countries and due to the jury decision, Chinese Film “The Woman Behind the Man” was awarded the Torch Prize, the top prize of the festival. During the festival, watching grandmass gymnastics and artistic performance “The Glorious Country”, Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace, Okryu Children’s Hospital, Pyongyang Teacher Training College, participants of the festival impressed great envy and praise on our people’s lives who are enjoying happy lives to the full in the most superior socialist society.
